I have opted for a couple of months or as long as I can stand it to wear a wig as a protective style. When choosing this option as a protective style make sure to continue whatever your hair regimen would be. When wearing a wig make sure you protect your hair by wearing a wig cap or even your silk bonnet underneath.
The reason I chose this is because my hair needs to become a little thicker. When I try protective styles with my own hair they simply don't hold because my hair is soo fine so I am doing the castor oil challenge with a blogger I follow kinkycurlycoilyme.com check out her site.
